"Pulling the Plug and asking the Great Questions"
We find Joseph has unpublished works such as "Pulling the Plug" written years ago, fiction based on non-fiction about the Vietnam war, the dark side truth about what war does to humans. It shows how a very good person starting out to do the right thing can act in very bad ways, war is a bizarre experience that alters the psyche forever. No one wants to hear this, there is no market for it so it stays unpublished. If it were to become common knowledge it would be clearly understood why war must be the absolute last resort to any conflict, and people would demand that from their governments.
Currently he is working on three projects, on the lighter side a love story set in medieval times about an errant Knight who decides he's tired of fighting in the name of religion, and the first of two books that will cover the Russian efforts in the paranormal during the cold war which should be fascinating as the Russians released a surprisingly generous amount of information about those days. How much remote viewing, etc., is being used today? He assures us that it does, a lot of good people are working very hard towards our security, stories that fall below the media's radar, they mostly report what's wrong, what's broken is what sells. He emphasizes the need for us to protect the foundation stones of our nation, our Constitution, and gives an example of how we need to be careful what we give up. His third project is a difficult one that asks the great questions, a book of his personal philosophical work born out of his own frustration in the world with the current spiritual condition, the human desire to create a "Designer God," the concept of a creator, and religions defining the rules of what God is. "I don't think we have a real perception of what a human being is." It disturbs him to see that at a very early age we learn to pass off responsibility for almost everything. "How do we know how to be righteously human? ...somewhere along the line something got broken, I'm trying to find some way of fixing that, I think."

"Surrealistic Reality"
How real is a surreal experience? Well very real when you are out of your body for hours and know exactly what happened in the "real" world when you come back. This is what happened to Joseph in 1970, overseas during his command position in army intelligence running border sites (highly classified operations) when he had an amazingly detailed NDE, his heart had stopped for over 8 minutes, the prognosis was not good, yet 24 hours later he woke from the coma suddenly sitting up, terrifying another patient as he announced "God is light, you can't die!" they were sure he was brain damaged and sedated him. For him it is as clear as when it happened ...after a "pop" he noticed the rain was falling through his hands, he saw his body on the ground, all his senses had intense clarity ---and you will just have to listen to his fantastic journey. Coming from a soldier who is not religious or particularly spiritual, "there really isn't room for that when you're dealing with counter intelligence" ...then he realized he was answering questions before they were asked, in fact he was receiving everyone's thoughts and soon decided he'd better act "normal" to get out of there. He observed how we waste huge amounts of energy and gives examples of "so many problems we create just by not thinking clearly." The gap between how we live and this other realm he had experienced was profound. Regarding his skill, "It's not special, that's the point, we just don't understand it and we need to understand it." This ability ultimately led him to be the first remote view 'volunteer' in the top secret U.S. Army program known as STARGATE, they were very interested in simulating the Soviet military's use of psychics. Joseph tells us that is a career choice that can ruin even high ranking intelligence officers. This is just one extraordinary experience in his life, stay tuned, there's a lot more to come from Sir Joseph.
