"No Sense in Freaking Out"
Right, sit down and keep your wits and a light heart as we hear this recent update on the stock market free fall, depression, layoffs, hyperinflation coming, the fed is now pledging $7.4+ trillion bailout, business like Circuit City going bankrupt, and what is wrong with the car industry. Gas prices will get ugly again, the democrats are talking about taking our IRAs and 401ks, gift card companies are practicing "bankruptcy planning" so avoid buying those as many may not be redeemable after Xmas. Ron Paul's agenda was to have the Gov quit micro managing the economy, and the "End The Fed" rally on 11/22 in 39 cities, something JFK was determined to do... UN troops will come in to control any 'rise ups'. Detention Camps? Michael drove around and found one! (it was spooky!) Panic in the market, what is happening to make Gold hard to get (check out "The Triumph of Gold" by Franz Pick) why oil dropped to $50 a barrel; and the first thing to do in your house if you loose electricity. In spite of all this Michael is still having fun as we all best be doing! What's coming is coming. To the unable he gives all he can in time and money, but not to the unwilling. "We've all been dumbed down on purpose, the rude awakening is coming."

"Yellow Fever! The Pursuit of Happiness"
Recreational mining or gold prospecting is not really for the money, it's a hobby; although Michael found gold down deep in very cold water, you don't have to go that far to enjoy and possibly get addicted to the heritage of the gold prospector. But it's more than that too, it's the whole journey as Michael describes traveling through the mountains of Wyoming watching Moose families behaving endearingly, the small chalet in Albany, and having to stop for elk crossings. A neat way to bond with your kids and a high adventure horseback riding story of his daughter's horse meeting a snake! "Nothing feels better than going out into nature and hunting for gold and playing with the equipment." You can take tons of gear or very simple hand tools and still have tons of fun. Michael explains how to know where to go, about mining claims and mineral rights, the equipment he uses and how it works. You'll find lead, mercury, garnets, rubies, emeralds, even diamonds. It can be an inexpensive vacation and the kids love it. A great resource he recommends is Gold Prospectors Association of America (google GPAA to find it in your state), kid friendly places and beautiful camp sites. How gold gets out of the mountain and into the stream bed, and where to look by "reading" the stream. "It's about the learning and then knowing and getting it right." That's a thrill, plus unexpectedly he has made many strong friendships with folks out there crossing his path on the yellow fever trail.

"Cleanly and Quickly"
Michael is back quickly with things we need to know in light of recent developments. First a preview of his next show which promises to be a lot of fun on his adventures prospecting gold! Right now though the most important point in this hour is to have WATER! Without it having gold won't help you. Whether you have metals or not, now is the time to make water the priority and just as important is a filtration system. Even well water will need to be filtered. He is prepared for very bad times and yet "none of us will get it 100% right, so just do what you can." The good use of fear vs. allowing this to paralyze you; remarkable things in the last 5 trading days; stocks are tanking, how are 401ks that were rolled from stocks to precious metals doing? The gov's "cleanly and quickly" bailouts will end up being in the trillions, guess how many years is a trillion seconds! The actual inflation rate; listen to his programs in 2005; your dollar is going to die. How bad is it now? It's over, it's done, the water in the frog pot is boiling, and we are the frogs. "The State of Affairs and Hiding Your Stash"
Michael's take on the political campaigns and of course he has a different slant then what we see on television, he does enjoy watching the speeches and every once in a while there is a "little kernel of truth". The 'Palin factor' it's great she can shoot a moose and quarter it, possibly part of the strategy in choosing her over MN Governor Tim Pawlenty. If everything we hear is true he'd vote for McCain, but it isn't and he believes it's already decided by central banking. It's amazing how truth is perceived as crazy, for instance now it's an accepted fact that we are really having a problem with oil, and Michael explains what we must do about that. What is this Reverse (scam?) Mortgage being highly advertised? How it works and who is the one person it would work for; targeting the vulnerable; another brilliant way for banking cartels to steal our homes; the 1% group they can't get; and selling our ports to the people who attacked us in 9/11; what about the Bush Cheney Impeachment proceedings? Hmmmm... "The president has the power to commit homicide and pardon himself." Michael is a huge fan of Ron Paul but disappointed with him for missing a big opportunity. The "adjusted" inflation rate and how it's manipulated by eliminating the categories if food, fuel, health care, etc.. what happens with gold and silver in different states of the economy and price vs. value. "We Don't Own America"
Several weeks ago a very quiet panic began just prior to the 2nd largest bank failure in US history, IndyMac. People withdrawing $100 million per day, $1.3 billion withdrawn in just 7 days. The FDIC made an unprecedented media appearance attempting to calm and reassure people that "they have it under control and no one was going to loose their money" well unless you have over $100,000 in your account, and even then..... they asked people to not withdraw their money as that would just make matters worse. Judging by the bank lines many did not fall for that! And just as Michael has said "when you see lines at the bank on the news it's already too late." This is not a buried story, it was on the front page of the L.A. Times. Why is this in the media now? Do they really want everyone to withdraw their money? Could this be the end-game where they win it all? "The list of people who should go to jail is enormous, the whole infrastructure has been sold off, ports, etc., we don't own America, and we are teetering on world collapse." Then, a story of his wife's 401k and well respected but foolish advice given her; how not to be taken by crazy gold speculations; Hugo Chavez's oil price prediction; people will move from suburbs to cities; and why you are not seeing the Senate doing anything about gas prices. "People are going to be really angered when they find out our nation has been sold. 'What it seems' is not real, the whole thing is a scam. Start thinking and get busy! Don't get moved to paralysis, get moved to action."

"From Profit to Protection"

There are some really bizarre things going on out there, the general populace is perceiving that something not good is going on behind the scenes in running this country, and that it won't matter who is elected president. Many investors have been changing their investment strategy from profit to protection over the last 5 years. Peak oil, rising food costs, and the release of the UK's UFO information. How to Barter 101: Understanding how it works for you, being careful of dealers and recognizing the value of the barter, your collectibles, and what eminent domain can take. When to cash in for "junk" silver dollars, and gold coins used for bartering. With Michael there's no dealer transaction, it's private. Understanding legal tender vs. the value of the weight of silver and gold coins. Priorities need to be put in order, silver coins are still affordable, dump the Dish, games, videos, go outside to play and spend that saved money on silver. Make tough changes now that will provide protection for you and your family in the future.

"Keep Doing Your Happy Things"
How safe is your FDIC-Insured bank account? How can it be described as a "government" corporation? When you deposit $100 you really have only $1 in the bank! Why it was started in 1913 to 1933, so do we stop depositing our money in the bank or what? Taking land through eminent domain used to be for the public good, but now it's being abused, and collecting your DNA is now allowed without arrest, "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." ~ Benjamin Franklin. REALID is about corralling the good guys, that's you and me. Maintaining your buying power and the "adjusted" rate of inflation. "Once there are lines at the bank and you hear that on the news it's too late." What about safe deposits boxes? There's never been a currency that's lasted 100 years, and the dollar is long in the tooth. More in the news, Ben Bernanke, Citi Corp, currencies and gloom and doom. But stay happy, keep doing your happy things like Michael does. Don't be pessimistic, protect yourself, just start wherever you are, have a good life, get food and water, and watch the TV series "Jericho"!

"It's Deadly Serious"
Can you please define recession? The definition is fairly loose, Michael explains, and nobody can really say we are in a recession until after we are in a recession. The difference with a depression, deflation, inflation, and stagflation? "In the last year you are spending 30% more for your food, did you receive a 30% raise?" Probably not unless you held gold which went up 31% in the same time period then at least you kept even. This would be considered really bad at just a 10% increase on food without compensation, at 30% it is absolutely horrific and astounding to see this happen. "The manipulation is something that is being perpetrated against the citizens of this country... it's frustrating but there really seems to not be much that the population wants to do about it as a whole." On the other hand his big joy comes from stories from his clients, for example a woman who followed his advise and was shocked to find she could pay off her house, it didn't dawn on her this really works until it did! What about your money in the bank, CDs, etc.; locking your HELOC rate for a fee?; In January, highest foreclosure rate in history; cannibalizing one body party at a time; how are builders still building?; dumbing down and veging out on TV, video games; and the necessity of hanging on to that 2nd amendment! "Kids used to bring rifles to school for shooting practice, clean their guns and go home." What he says about gun control, and he favors the GOA (Gun Owners Association) over the NRA. The list of what to do before we become a "Jerico" episode. "This is not a joke, this is deadly serious."

"Oh Those Side Effects!"
Warning: You are entering the reality zone! The rates dropped again to an unprecedented level, you think maybe we should fire these guys??? Get today's issue of WSJ (1/31) and GATA's ad "Anybody Seen Our Gold?" But enough about smoke and mirrors, let's get to the side effects when you buy the Pharm! Polio was eradicated years ago but are any of these Rx doing any good today? Fatal reactions have increased 3 times... Can't sleep? Well follow the hilarious trail Michael lays out if you decide to take something like Ambien for your insomnia! It's not really funny, but it IS so ludicrous you have to laugh. We add more "remedies" to relieve the side effects for Ambien, (many of which you wouldn't want to be caught dead in public when they occur), as we cascade down the path to "relief" what do we end up with? Insomnia! Not so funny is the idea of making a "game show" with dying contestants competing for a kidney [Ed: the "The Big Donor Show" was a hoax reality show, but for how long...? ] And Fen-phen was good for loosing weight along with a chunk of your heart. If you don't want your 5 year old on Ridlin, make sure it's not in their bananas at school. "Rome is burning folks." It keeps coming back to *you* taking responsibility, you do *your* homework and do some research before buying the Pharm, make your own decisions, think about keeping your kids from being indoctrinated by TV shows, commercials, and video games, consider the influence of the "icons" for young people today, give them alternatives such as values, self esteem, and helping others.

"We have to talk about it out loud!"
Michael in -12 below and what one does in that kind of cold. The Federal Reserve (which don't forget isn't Federal!) keeps printing more dollars and are willing to drop it all from a helicopter if need
be; 1 out of 4 households are now delinquent, not just on their mortgage, on utility bills; the status of 'Baby Boomers' now entering retirement, the group that has it coming and why; rolling your IRA
and 401k into precious metals and the difference between investing for protection vs. for profit; most folks in their 40s will have to feed themselves until they are 80, how many loaves of bread will you
need when it's $20-40 per loaf? "This is a bad economic period designed to steal your wealth, the banks will take care of 'theirs', but not you" the real tsunami is yet to come. Bush's "shot in the arm", the leverage between made in China vs. USA; and if you talk against the president they can take you away; we have to talk out loud about this; "If every man and woman were self reliant, and helping neighbors and friends, then there wouldn't be any global power." Michael will do anything people ask him as long as he can do it, he'll answer your questions, mail information to you, even send you seeds if you absolutely cannot buy them ...how can he afford the time to do that? He says, "How can I afford not to?" And some tips on how to look at your budget and not cut out entertainment!

Peaceful, but you can see the inevitable coming. How to deal with the ups and downs, rumors that become news when the Feds talk, and ways you can profit from this while the dollar is still in the process of dying, the housing market taking a toll, and there is an upheaval coming. The Feds lower the interest rate... again, an "event" in itself, the impact, the rumor, and yes gold goes up. But be clear on this, gold doesn't change in value, it's your dollar that is loosing value. "The Art of Being Preservable"
Public schools are way behind life, Michael recalls growing up in the 60's and an amazing teacher's warning back then. Now he himself is a wonderful example of being preservable and explains the paths to sovereignty.
